Since joining KATZEN in 1993, Mr. Lococo has been involved in all phases of project development from initiation of contracts, project definition and design development, to detail design execution, vendor liaison, construction, project management, plant start-up and operations troubleshooting. He is the originator and director of KATZEN's specialty database, software and hardware support, as well as leader of the computer aided design team. Mr. Lococo's expertise in mechanical engineering is complimented by his extraordinary chemical process operations and design experience. His primary field of concentration has been in motor fuel, potable, and industrial grades of ethanol production. Additionally, he has been involved with specialty projects including evaporators, ring dryers, food processing, and sulfite liquor stripping. Mr. Lococo works in numerous locations around the globe on KATZEN projects and has a tireless commitment to the final success of each client from start-up through stable operations and beyond.

Prior to KATZEN, Mr. Lococo worked for British Petroleum (BP America) in the pipeline division where he was responsible for the management of pipeline projects from bid to construction. He also had responsibility for liaison functions with regulatory agencies, including DOT, Coast Guard, EPA, and OSHA.
